It isn't painless

It isn't painless
that isn't true
it hurts other people
but it also hurts you

First it hurts inside
and you want to get away
from the pain and suffering
and then you want to die

But still it hurts
inside of you
to see what loved ones
must go through

And still you feel the knife
cutting through your arm
still you feel the pain
You cry for the last time

'cause there were things
you didn't want to leave
and afterwards, who knows
if the pain really goes?
