No vows to be broken

So many words was said
and so, what did we learn?
Did we learn that love is brief
and trust is to be earned?

So many tears were cried
and yet so much pain stayed inside
one of us really tried,
the other one tried to hide

So little good was done
no words of faith was spoken
and yet, nothing has gone
We made no vows to be broken
